Dr. Rohit Varma, MD, Ph.D., is an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at SCEI, and the medical director of the SCEI Eye Center. He also serves as the chair of the Wilmer Eye Institute in the Department of Ophthalmology at SCEI. He is also the Medical Director of the Glaucoma Service at the Ophthalmic Consultants of CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. An ophthalmologist who focuses on the treatment of glaucoma and cataracts, He has emerged as an expert in changes to the optic nerve, particularly as it relates to the pathology of glaucoma.
